Ecclesiastes 3:1   To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.

Matthew 16:2-3   He answered and said unto them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather for the sky is red.’; “and in the morning it will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.”

I Thessalonians 5:1   But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

II Timothy 3:1   But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come.

Matthew 10:22   “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.”

Jeremiah 6:16-17   Thus says the Lord: Stand by the roads and look; and ask for the eternal paths, where the good, ,old way is; then walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk in it! And I set watchmen over you, saying, Hear and obey the sound of the trumpet! But they said, We will not listen or obey.

Matthew 11:28-29   Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest [ I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] Take my yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle(meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest ( relief, and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.

Ephesians 5:15-16   Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people). Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil.

Matthew 24:42   Watch, therefore [ give strict attention, be cautious and active], for you do not know in what kind of a day [ whether a near or remote one] your Lord is coming.

I Peter 3:1-3   Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder that you may be mindful of the words spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”

Matthew 24:37-39   But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Psalm 12:6 tells us the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times. The Living Word, Jesus Himself, appointed scribes that we might continue to receive His words, for they are Spirit and they are life. Hear Him as He speaks today.
