| God's Word to Women Statement of FaithWe believe in one God--eternal, triune, existing in unity as three equal persons-- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the full deity and humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, was buried, and resurrected; ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. We believe that personal salvation, by being born again from above and sealed by the Holy Spirit, is available to all through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We believe baptism in the Holy Spirit is distinct from New Birth, empowering and anointing believers for ministry, witness, and godly living. We believe signs and wonders, as well as all the gifts of the Spirit described in the New Testament, are operative today and testify to the presence of God's kingdom. We believe the Bible in the original languages is the inspired and inerrant Word of God and is the dependable, final authority for faith and conduct. We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit progressively changing us into His likeness that His life may be lived in and through us. We believe in the utter and unceasing insufficiency and inability within ourselves to bring forth anything spiritually good. His Word says, "Without Me, you can do nothing." (John 15:5). We confess our absolute helplessness while at the same time believing in the absolute sufficiency of our God. We believe that GWTW is called to help Christians discover the truth of biblical equality and to encourage women to find the full scope of the role for which they were created. ![]()
