ALL MY SPRINGS ARE IN YOU

The longer I live, the more I appreciate the seasons our Lord brings. Everywhere I look there is the beauty of resurrection. As we bask in the glorious creation springing forth after winter, we delight even more over the joy of resurrection in our hearts, as we experience anew the power of His life, love and grace.

In the realm of the Spirit, God's Word to Women has passed through a "winter" and the time of singing has come again for us! We have experienced some change, transition and renovation of our website. The Lord sent an "angel" - one of those ministering ones - to help us along the way. How He proves Himself over and over again - the Faithful One.

In my back yard, a large tree trunk hosts a lovely plaque with verses from Song of Solomon - For, behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing [of birds] has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth and ripens her green figs, and the vines are in blossom and give forth their fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

Those same words are extended today as He calls us to "Come away", and as we do so, we identify with the Psalmist in Psalm 87:7 (Amp.) The singers as well as the players on instruments shall say, All my springs (my sources of life and joy) are in you.

He said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life" and longs for His people to know Him as their only source for life.

A NOW WORD TO WOMEN

Does God have a Word to Women in the 21st Century? Yes! Just as surely as He had one that was made known to mankind at Creation so does He have one today as we yet hear Him saying through His servant, Paul, "And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly . . . " (Romans 16:20).

The enemy's head was bruised at Calvary by our Redeemer Jesus Christ, the Seed of the woman. Yet, it still remains that the seed of the woman in all believers--will bruise Satan under their feet shortly. Our victory is a continuation of His. Does Satan have a built-in animosity toward women? According to Genesis 3:15, he definitely has a God-given enmity with "the woman." After all, the first messianic promise and proclamation of the Gospel is NOW still ringing in the enemy's ears!

The Serpent bruised our Lord's heel on the Cross, but the foot of all His believers will come crashing down on Satan very soon. Woman, especially, will become a significant factor in the reversal of the effects of the Fall when all believers completely triumph over that ol' debbil.

INTEGRITY

God says He will shake everything that can be shaken. When we look around, the shaking is apparent.

Now is the time for us all to go before the Lord and ask Him to search our hearts and show us anything not pleasing to Him.

We are called to love God and our neighbor, to serve rather than to be served, and to do everything as unto the Lord.

These orders are for everyone. Certainly our leaders should be models, but each of us is an example to someone.

Our friend, Margaret Bridge, drew this cartoon of the three of us which sums up our job quite well. "Together," we're out to "get" women.

Jeremiah said, "Hear the Word of the Lord, O ye women, and let your ear receive the Word of His mouth." Jeremiah 9:20.

Isaiah cries, "Rise up, ye women that are at ease:  Hear My voice, ye careless daughters.  Give ear unto My speech." Isaiah 32:9.

Do you hear Him calling you?
