Isaiah 60:1-2   “Arise and shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you.”

Isaiah 54:1-2   “Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child;, burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband,” says the Lord. “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.”

Isaiah 41:15   “See, I will make you into a threshing – sledge, new and sharp with many teeth. You will thresh the mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills to chaff.”

Isaiah 55:12   You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

II Corinthians 6:18   “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”

John 6:35   Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

John 10:10b   I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

John 7:37-38   On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me as the Scripture has said, will have streams of living water flowing from within.”

John 4:13-14   Jesus answered, “All who drink this water will be thirsty again, but those who drink the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

Romans 15:13   May the God of peace fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Colossians 2:6–8   As therefore you received Christ Jesus, the Lord, so live in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. See to it that no one makes a prey of you by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ. For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness in him who is the head of all rule and authority.

Acts 17:28   For in him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your poets have said, ‘For we are indeed his offspring.’

I John 5:11   And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who has not the Son of God has not life.

Isaiah 41:16b   And you shall rejoice in the Lord; in the Holy One of Israel you shall glory.

Luke 24:2-4   They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they went in, they did not find the body. While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men in dazzling clothes stood beside them. The women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here but his risen.

John 11:25–26   Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.” Do you believe this?

John 20:19-20   When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “ Peace be with you.” After he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.

John 20:30-31   Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. But these are written so that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through believing you may have life in his name.

Psalm 103:1-5   Bless the Lord, oh, my soul, and all that is in me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption; Who beautifies, dignifies and crowns you with loving – kindness and tender mercies; Who satisfies your mouth with good; so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]!

Psalm 107:8   Oh, that men would praise [and confess to] the Lord His goodness and loving – kindness, and His wonderful works to the children of men!

Isaiah 66:2   For all these things My hand has made and so all these things have come into being [for Me] says the Lord, But this is the man to whom I will look and have regard, he who is humble and of a broken or wounded spirit, and who trembles at My word and reveres My commands.

Hosea 10:12   Sow for yourselves according to righteousness – uprightness and right standing with god; reap according to mercy and loving – kindness. Break up your uncultivated ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, to inquire of Him and to require [His favor], till He comes and teaches you righteousness and rains His righteous gift of salvation upon you.

Psalm 86:8-11   There is none like unto You among the gods, O Lord, neither are their works like unto Yours. All nations whom You have made shall come and fall down before You, O Lord, and they shall glorify Your name. For You are great and work wonders! You alone are God.

Psalm 96:8-10   Give to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering and come [before Him] into His courts. O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness; tremble before and reverently fear Him, all the earth. Say among the nations that the Lord reigns; the world also is established, so that it cannot be moved; He shall judge and rule the people righteously and with justice.

Psalm 97:1-5   The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles and coastlands be glad! Clouds and darkness are round about Him [as at Sinai]; righteousness and justice are the foundations of His throne. Fire goes before Him and burns up His adversaries round about. His lightnings illumine the world; the earth sees and trembles. The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the Lord of the whole earth.

Luke 17:5-6   The Apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea’ and it will obey you.

Matthew 15:22-28   A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon – possession.” Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him, and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.” He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” The woman came and knelt before him, “Lord, help me!” she said. He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to their dogs.” “Yes, Lord,” she said, but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.” Then Jesus answered, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

Hebrews 10:22a   Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith…….

I Corinthians 13:13   And now these remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Psalm 36:1-6

An oracle is within my heart, concerning the sinfulness of the wicked.
There is no fear of God before their eyes.
For in their own eyes they flatter themselves too much to detect or hate their sin.
The words of their mouths are wicked and deceitful
They have ceased to be wise and to do good.
Even on their beds they plot evil; they commit themselves to a sinful course
And do not reject what is wrong.
Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains
Your justice like the great deep.

Scripture from the RSV Bible

Matthew 11:28-30   Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Matthew 5:1, 13-16   Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down his disciples came to him. And he opened his mouth and taught them saying: "You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trodden under foot by men. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."

Matthew 13:45   "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it."

Matthew 13:53   And when Jesus had finished these parables, he went away from there, and coming to his own country he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, “Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works?"

John 8:28   So Jesus said, “When you have lifted up the Son of man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority but speak thus as the Father taught me.”

Scripture from the NIV Bible

Jeremiah 31:3   The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving kindness.”

Isaiah 41:13   For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand, and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Revelation 3:7-9   “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. See, I have placed before you an open door, that no one can shut. I know you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews and are not, but liars – I will make them to come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.”

John 14:1   “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.”

Revelation 3:11   I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.

Glory to God in the Highest!

Isaiah 7:14   Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Micah 5:2   But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.

Luke 2:4,5,7   And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, (because he was of the house and lineage of David,) to be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And she brought forth her first born son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Luke 2: 11-14   Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you: You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,, ”Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests.”

Psalm 12:6 tells us the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times. The Living Word, Jesus Himself, appointed scribes that we might continue to receive His words, for they are Spirit and they are life. Hear Him as He speaks today.
