All Scripture quotations are taken from the Amplified Bible.

In our nation’s news today, another of our public schools has come under pressure from the spirit of anti-christ. The graduation day cross and a banner expressing HOLINESS TO THE LORD, had to be covered in order not to offend anyone because of religious differences. I am reminded of Daniel’s prophecy speaking of the anti-christ who would wear the saints out in the last days. There’s hardly a day that passes we fail to hear of another attack against Christianity! (Daniel 7:25) The prophecy reads: And he shall speak words against the Most High God, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High…..I don’t know about you, but many days I feel “worn out” from all the spiritual warfare.

This rebellion is what we are watching in our land and Daniel’s vision is unfolding before our eyes. Our God is a God of righteousness & judgment, and God assures Daniel, and all God’s people today, that He neither slumbers or sleeps. He is going to give a “wake up” call to the nations and all who do not repent will come under judgment.

The 26th and 27th verses of Daniel 7, tell us what’s ahead for the anti-christ and everyone who operates from his spirit:
But the judgment shall be set by the court of the Most High, and they shall take away his dominion to consume it gradually, and to destroy it suddenly in the end. And the kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heavens, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions shall serve and obey Him.

The spirit of anti-christ may have won this little skirmish, but the day is coming soon when this spirit will be put down and righteousness will reign. There will no longer be any demands to remove the name of the Lord from all our public places. Zechariah has prophesied what the spiritual climate will be when all this lawlessness is eradicated from the earth.

In that day there shall be written upon the little bells of the horses, “HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD”; and the pots in the Lord’s house shall be holy to the Lord like the bowls before the altar. (Zech.14:20)

In this, we can rejoice for our Lord is faithful and true to His Word. Look up, for our redemption is drawing near!
