About the Author

"After being married for forty-six years, I became a widow in June 1997. Dexter and I married when we completed high school, and I was a full-time wife, mother and homemaker. From our union has come three children, eight grand-children, and three great grand-daughters.

After having been churched most of my life, I became a member of the Body of Christ in October 1968. What a radical change happened when Jesus came into my life! Beginning in 1970, the Lord gave me the privilege of serving with a beautiful team in a coffee-house ministry for four years. We rejoiced with many who were birthed into the kingdom and became true disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. Some are ministering full-time for Him today. My husband, oldest son, and daughter were a vital part of this ministry. My twin sister and her two daughters were pillars in the coffee-house ministry. During this time, my husband and I were also very active in the Lay Witness weekends in Methodist churches.

Along with my twin and her husband, my husband and I owned and operated a Christian bookstore for about ten years. It gave me great joy to place the Word of God into the hands of many and to offer wonderful Spirit-filled books to those seeking the truth.

The Word of God has truly been a lamp unto my feet, and the Holy Spirit has been my teacher. As my teacher, He has imparted the wonderful truth of what it means to be a woman of God, released to serve. Barbara and I pray He will use this site to glorify His name and edify each one of you.

The Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost, and part of that is the restoration of women to their place of ministry! I'm grateful for the blessing of being a part of this site!

In addition to serving on this website, I minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ wherever and whenever He calls. A house church called Prairie Fellowship meets in my home in Eagle Lake, Texas. I am certified by Overcomers Recovery Support, which is a Biblically-based, 12-step program, fully accepted by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

Two other positions I'm privileged to hold in the community include: Secretary of the Board of Orphans Unlimited, a mission project to Mozambique founded by Brenda Lang (www.orphansunlimited.org) and Secretary of the Lighthouse Board of Directors, a local mission outreach."

What if the Foundations be Destroyed?

by Gay Anderson

"If the foundations are destroyed, what can the [unyieldingly] righteous do, or what has He [the Righteous One] wrought or accomplished?" (Psalms 11:3 Amplified Bible) God is calling this nation back to Him; for in the beginning God! He breathed His life into Adam and he became a living soul. This nation, founded upon faith in Jesus Christ, is destitute without His breath upon and within us. Its foundation was built upon Judeo-Christian principles, and we see it laid waste, morally and spiritually. If the foundation of a house is destroyed, then ultimately the entire structure faces collapse. So if the foundations of a nation are destroyed, it too will collapse.

Joel's prophecy (Joel 1:1-7) is a picture, not only of Israel, but of our own nation. Our land is being devoured by a "heathen hostile" nation of locusts, illustrative of a human foe! New York City subways are being "papered" with Muslim propaganda; honor killings have found place on our soil, one presidential candidate states this nation is no longer Christian, but Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu and Atheist. Coach Dave Daubenmire, wrote this past March, "The problem in America is not politicians, but the pulpits." Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God? No! Only Christianity can boast of an empty tomb and risen Savior.

We cry out, even as Isaiah when he declared: "Justice is turned away backward, and righteousness stands far off; for truth has fallen in the street and uprightness cannot enter the courts of justice." (Isaiah 59:14)

We have lost the fear of God; holding little value for life, as we continue abortions in our land. Forsaking God's Word, as the rule of law and governing, has led us into moral and spiritual collapse. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. America! It is time to wake up and hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches! Let us heed the Spirit's call and fulfill the following prophecy:

"And they shall rebuild the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former desolations and renew the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations." Isaiah 61:4 (Amp.) "Except The Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; except the Lord keeps the city, the watchman wakes but in vain." Psalms 127:1 (Amp.)
